Things Bodybuilders Can Do To Make Sure They’re Healthy

Optimize your workouts to stay healthier

First, you’re going to want to train at least 2 muscle groups per workout. To avoid hitting a training plateau, change up your workouts every two weeks or so. This helps the body build maximum muscle and stay stronger for a longer period of time.

Second, focus on lifting progressively more weight over time, rather than just fixating on building muscle mass.

Third, when training, remember to stop just short of complete muscle failure. Constantly lifting heavy and lifting until failure actually produces more negative effects than it helps.

The lesson? To build the most muscle, your body needs rest and regular breaks. Don’t just push endlessly, because that’s when you’re most likely to injure yourself.
