Makes 1 serving
Ingredients:
- 1 scoop peanut butter NitraFlex 100% Whey protein powder
- 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour or oat flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 ½ tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon no sugar added peanut butter chocolate chips (optional)
Peanut Butter Drizzle:
- 1 teaspoon chocolate peanut butter
- Splash of milk of choice
Instructions:
Spray a microwave safe small cereal bowl or mug with nonstick cooking spray and set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine the protein powder, almond flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder with a spoon.
In a separate bowl, whisk the egg with the milk. Pour the egg and milk mixture into the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth and incorporated. Then stir in the peanut butter chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the prepared mug or bowl and top with additional peanut butter chocolate chips. Microwave for 60 seconds on medium-high. Cook an additional 40 seconds on medium-high.
In the meantime, combine the peanut butter and milk with a spoon until you achieve a runny drizzle consistency. Drizzle the peanut butter sauce over the mug cake when ready to serve. Enjoy warm!
